Saturday 17th September, 2016, the Hospitaller Family at St. Augustine Province of Africa was blessed to have Rev. Br Jacob Ketchen being promoted to ORDER OF DIACONATE by the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Same-Tanzania Rt Rev. ROGATH KIMARY C.S.Sp.
This occasion took place at Tangaza University College Nairobi. They were 17 in total that were ordained from three different Religious Congregations.
To witnessed this occasion was the Provincial Superior of St. Augustine Province Rev. Br. Bartholomew Kamara accompanied by Br. Linus Tangu, Provincial Secretary, from Vice Province the Vice Provincial Superior with his Secretary and from the French Province the Provincial Superior accompanied by 3 counsellors.
Br Jacob is coming from the Mamfe Diocese in the South West Region of Cameroon precisely Nguti. Fr. Peter Paul, the Education Secretary of the Mamfe Diocese was also present witness this event in Nairobi.
His elder Brother Mr Tambe who came from Sweden was present to represent the family. The ended at the scholasticate community with celebration.
